What We Believe

About the Bible:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness - 2 Timothy 3:16.

About God:

That God exist in three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and these three distinct persons are one God. That God created the heaven and earth That God sent his son, Jesus, to be born of a virgin, to die on a cross, to be buried in a tomb, to rise on the third day, return to the right hand of the father and is soon to return for his people. That God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent.

About Salvation:

That all have sin and fallen short of the glory of God, but if you repent, accept the free gift of salvation, believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and confess with your mouth that you are a sinner then you will be saved.

About the church:

That Christ is the head of the church - Ephesians 5:23 The church follows two ordinances - Baptism, the symbolic gesture of burying the old man and resurrecting the new by being submersed in a pool of water. And the Lord's Supper - the symbolic gesture of remembering God's sacrifice of dying on the cross for our sins. The bread represents his body that was bruised and the wine represents the blood that was shed.
