Prayer Still Works!

Good news: Prayer Still Works!!!! You are invited to attend an evening of prayer Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Join us in this time of corporately seeking the heart of the Father and asking that He teach us how to pray more effectively. This event is being hosted by the New Salem Prayer Ministry.

 
Divorce Care Groups

Are you seeking God’s healing from separation or divorce? Please plan to attend this fall’s Divorce Care Groups. The men and women’s groups will begin on Thursday, September 16th at 6:30 pm. Divorce Care is a 13 week group study and support group. For more information, please contact Rev. David A. Williams.

 
Calling all couples!

No matter your fitness level come out for a morning of physical activity and fun on Saturday, September 11th at Blacklick Park from 9:00 am – 10:15 am. The cost is $10.00 per couple.
The Fitness Face Off will be led by a certified personal trainer. What a great opportunity to make a unique deposit into your marriage love bank. Sign-up in the foyer at the Membership Table before September 8th or onsite September 11th.

 
A Penny For Your Thoughts:

Candid Conversations for Christ on Marriage – A brown bag luncheon. This event is open to anyone who is married. Join us on Saturday, October 23rd from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Minnie B. Cleveland Fellowship Hall. Participants will “tour” the marriage topical museum and engage in a variety of dynamic discussions and activities on marriage. Sign-up in the foyer at the Membership Table.

 
Promoting Our Artists

As a compliment to our “Promoting Our Artists” Event on Saturday, August 28th from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, a different New Salem member artist will be featured monthly. If you are an artist and would like to be featured, please contact Kim Carter. This month’s featured artist is Al Edmondson, pick-up a copy of his book “The Barber Shop Cookbook”.

 
Business Center Roundtable

Don’t miss the Community of Caring Business Center’s Roundtable Session “Reinventing You and Your Business”, Saturday, August 28th from 8:30 am – 11:30 am in the Minnie B. Cleveland Fellowship Hall.. Attention Business Owners, Managers, Independent Contractors and Professionals! New Salem is creating a Business Directory that will be available for our members and guests. The Directory will list your business and contact information for free. Advertising space can be also purchased. Pick-up a registration card in one of the CARE Corners and return it to Member and Guest Services.
