  Church Revival 2010 

Church Revival 2010 starts Sunday, March 21st. This year’s theme is “The Power and Purpose of the Prophetic Church” - Luke 4:18-19. Revivalist is Bishop Keith Wayne Reed, Sr. of Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. Nightly Services – March 22nd – 24th. Prayer from 6:15 pm – 6:45 pm; Praise and Worship at 6:45 pm. Join us for this powerful event! 

 

 
  Softball Season  

New Salem’s Recreation Ministry will be starting its Softball Season in April. Registration is available on-line and at the Membership Ministry Table now thru March 14th. The Softball Season is for both adult men and women.

 
  Women of Power Women’s Weekend 

Women of Power Women’s Weekend at New Salem, April 23rd – 25th, Friday evening and all day Saturday. Women’s Day is Sunday, April 25th. Registration for this event is $90.00 which includes breakfast, lunch and a shirt. The color for Sunday is purple. The theme for the weekend is Women of Power - Worship! John 4:24 God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.  

 
  Volunteers Needed as Drivers 

The Hospitality Department is looking for volunteers to serve as drivers in the Transportation Ministry.  If interested and for more information, please stop by the Hospitality Ministry Table or contact the Hospitality Department at 614-930-2243.  

 
The WAY Newsletter  

The newest edition of The WAY has been released! Make sure to get your copy of our youth newsletter. Inside of The WAY readers will find creative writing pieces and updates on the many ministerial experiences in which our youth are engaged. If you would like to help design the newsletter or contribute a creative writing piece, please email thewayyouth@ymail.com or leave a message at (614) 930-2242.  

 
  Director of Ministry 

New Salem Baptist Church is seeking a talented individual to serve as the Director of Ministry.  Must have experience managing people and programs.  Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.  Interested persons should send a copy of resume and cover letter to John H. Church Clean Up

Church Clean Up – March 19th from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and March 20th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Sign-up your CARE Group, Sunday School Class and Ministry Group. Individuals are also welcome. To sign-up, email Kim Carter at kcarter@newsalemcares.com by March 17th with the time you will serve. Cut off sign-up time to start on Friday is 4:00 pm and Saturday at noon. 

 
The KCCB Book of the Quarter

The KCCB Book of the Quarter is "Fasting" by Jentezen Franklin. If you are unable to attend the Fasting 101 class you can still purchase the book and dvd lesson from the bookstore 

 
Business Center’s Roundtable & Networking Session

Don’t miss the Business Center’s Roundtable & Networking Session, Saturday, March 27th from 9:00 am – 11:30 am in the Minnie B. Fellowship Hall. This year’s theme is "Hit A Home Run For Your Business". The session will focus on Sales, Marketing, Branding, Social Networking & Developing Your "Elevator Pitch".
