The purpose of the Green Team is to provide the church membership with an opportunity to participate in various recycling efforts; and to educate persons on how they can be better stewards of the environment and natural resources.

Recycling News!!!

In 2010 New Salem Missionary Baptist Church collected over 24,000 pounds of paper. Please help us to double that amount this year by bringing in your:

• Newspaper
• School papers
• Work papers
• Magazines
• Shredded paper (in clear plastic bags)
• Junk mail
• Scrap paper, etc.

Look out for more recycling efforts and neighborhood clean-up opportunities that will be led by the Green Team this year.
