The purpose of Youth Council is to equip and empower the youth of New Salem to grow in Christ by cultivating the leadership abilities, spiritual growth and positive self-esteem of select students in grades 6-12; and to provide them with a forum through which they can represent their peers, voice their opinions and affect change within the church body, local community, nation and the world.
